Newtons Tech is a small, independent studio that builds its own software and develops web apps and websites for others, all the same way: carefully, and without cutting corners.
THE FOUNDER
A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
I started Newtons Tech as a place to build custom websites and web apps for small businesses, the same way I would build them for myself. A studio of one, with a long technical operations background, reliable hosting I run, and direct access to the person doing the work.
Each project is small. Each should be useful for a long time. None of them are in a hurry.
Software should feel like a well-made tool: honest about what it is, careful with your attention, and patient with your time. The world has enough applications that shout. The ones I build do not.
OFF THE CLOCK
Knoxville, Tennessee, born and raised. I've never lived anywhere else, and I don't plan to.
Home is my wife Brittney, our son Hayden (11), and our daughter Layla (3 months). Brittney is a teacher. Hayden is deep into video games, Godzilla, and the Jurassic Park franchise. Layla smiles and laughs at almost everything, which is a useful reminder about what most things are worth.
When I'm not at the keyboard I'm usually outside: soccer, running, a trail somewhere in East Tennessee. Or I'm at home with the four of them, which is the whole point.
They're the reason any of this is built the way it is: carefully, on my own time, and meant to last.
